Privacy Policy

This policy explains exactly what PinFetch does and does not collect. It is short because the service is designed to need almost nothing from you.
What we do not collect
- No account, name, email address or password, because there is no sign-up.
- No Pinterest credentials. We never ask you to log in and could not use them if you did.
- No copy of the media you download. Files are streamed through and never written to disk.
- No download history linked to an identifiable person.
What is processed
When you submit a link, the pin URL is sent to our server so it can be resolved. It is used for that request and is not stored in a database afterwards.
Like any web server, ours records standard technical request logs: IP address, timestamp, user agent and the path requested. These are used to keep the service working and to enforce rate limits against abuse, and are rotated automatically.
Cookies
The tool itself sets no cookies and uses no local storage. If analytics or advertising are enabled on this deployment, those third parties may set their own cookies, and a consent banner will be shown where the law requires one.
Third parties
Media is fetched from Pinterest’s content delivery network. Your download therefore involves Pinterest’s infrastructure and is subject to their own practices. We do not sell, rent or share data with data brokers.
Children
The service is not directed at children under 13 and we knowingly collect nothing from them.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights of access, correction and erasure under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA. Because we hold no account data, most such requests concern server logs only. Write to hello@pinfetch.top and we will respond within 30 days.
Changes
Material changes will be reflected in the “last updated” date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the revised policy.
