About PinFetch

Last updated

PinFetch is a single-purpose tool: paste a Pinterest link, get the file behind it. It exists because Pinterest ships no download button, and most of the sites that fill that gap are heavy with pop-ups, redirects and fake download buttons.

How it works

When you submit a link, our server asks Pinterest's own public embed endpoint — the same one that powers pins embedded on other websites — for that pin's media list, and returns the direct file URLs to your browser. Choosing a quality streams that file through us to you so the browser saves it instead of opening it. Nothing is written to disk on our side at any point.

What we deliberately do not do

  • No account, sign-up or email is ever requested.
  • No browser extension, APK or desktop installer.
  • No watermark, re-encoding or resizing of your file.
  • No download history tied to you, and no selling of data we do not collect.
  • No access to private boards or private accounts, by design.

Speed as a feature

Every page here is pre-rendered to static HTML and served with no client-side framework. The only JavaScript on the page is the few kilobytes that run the download box itself. That is why the site paints almost immediately even on a slow mobile connection.

Independence

PinFetch is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Pinterest, Inc. Pinterest is a trademark of its respective owner. We simply read publicly available pages.
